About Motion4Life
Our Mission
Our mission at Motion4Life is to welcome our patients with compassion and respect and be granted the privilege to serve them. We will do this by listening actively, providing patient-centered care through skillful hands and relieving their anxiety and burden of suffering with the chiropractic approach to healthcare that nurtures the body’s natural healing ability, while working together to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
We strive to help patients understand that their body does the healing—we simply facilitate the process by helping to remove roadblocks that interfere with that healing ability. Healing is a marathon, not a sprint, and regular chiropractic care can help give your body the tools it needs to create lasting health.
Our History
Dr. Paul Taillefer made a career change to chiropractic after experiencing first-hand the health benefits it provides. After receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, he began practicing in downtown Ottawa in 2004. He continues to offer new therapies including Acupuncture, Interferential Current (IFC) and Therapeutic Ultrasound to compliment the therapies he currently offers including; Active Release Techniques® (ART®) and Graston Technique® for myofascial release, as well as Cox® Technic Flexion Distraction and Decompression for disc issues and anyone who needs or prefers a gentler mobilization technique.

Getting to the Root of Your Condition
Dr. Taillefer is an evidence-based chiropractor, focused on biomechanical or neuromusculoskeletal conditions that interfere with your ability to move through life with ease and comfort. Often the area where you’re experiencing pain or discomfort is not the source of the problem—for example, if your big toe can’t flex properly, you may feel pain in your knee. Rather than only addressing the pain in your knee, we do a thorough assessment to help us accurately diagnose the underlying problem.
