We look forward to welcoming you to Motion4Life. We encourage you to complete our new patient paperwork ahead of time and bring it with you to your first appointment. Also, please dress in comfortable clothing that you can move around in, and bring any imaging reports you may have that are relevant to your condition.

Your First Visit
When you come in, you’ll be greeted by our warm and engaging assistant, Sue, who will make you feel right at home. She’ll answer any questions you may have regarding insurance and payments.
Then you’ll sit down with Dr. Taillefer, who will talk with you about your health history and current conditions. He’ll ask about any other approaches you’ve tried, as well as what has helped and what hasn’t. A thorough history helps set the stage for an accurate diagnosis.
Next, Dr. Taillefer will do an in-depth examination, including orthopedic and neurological evaluations and a postural assessment.
Before your next visit, Dr. Taillefer will review all of the information from your history and exams so he can diagnose the underlying problem and design a care plan to address your specific issues. At your second visit, he will go over all of his findings with you and explain what’s causing your symptoms and how our care may be able to correct the problem. He’ll answer all your questions and give you all the information you need to make an informed decision regarding your care. If you’re ready to begin, you’ll receive your first adjustment at this visit. Plan on about 30-45 minutes for this visit.
Regular visits will build on the progress you have achieved from prior visits. During these visits, you will receive a chiropractic adjustment or other mobilization. Depending on your needs, you may also receive additional supportive therapies such as myofascial release, traction, kinesiology taping, acupuncture, interferential current or therapeutic ultrasound.
